Giffy - This program lets you create transparent gifs relatively easy. The only problem is you must pick a colour for the transparent parts that isn't in the picture, as all of that colour will be transparent.

Speedfan - "Monitors fan speeds, temperatures and voltages." Also lets you access a lot more information and do a lot more than that.
