My boss has some issues as well, and is pretty much the patron saint of morale assassination. He yells at the women in the office until they cry and shit. Any time you have a problem with something, he throws it back in your face. In fact, I was his golden boy for the first 6 months I was there, then I complained about something, and now I'm persona non grata; I went from pat on the head to pissing on my head in 4.8 seconds.
