Hehehe, yeah. Lots of Europeans wear shirts with things in English written on them, I'd see them all over the place in Germany. Lots of Germans even do their graffitti in English. "Fuck you" is considered much hipper than "verpiss dich."

I always thought a lot of Americans were too preoccupied with the existence of anti-Americanism elsewhere in the world. Yeah it's there, yeah some people won't like you just because you're American, who cares? Obviously you'd want to avoid countries we recently bombed (which I must admit is a significant list), but aside from that, who cares? So people'll give you cold stares and try to add an extra 50 cents to your bill at a restaurant--never bothered me much.

Anyways, have fun in Italy and your three undisclosed locations. I've successfully scored in a good number of the countries I've been to, if you'd disclosed the three maybe I could've given you some tips.
