The fact is that if Ron Paul were actually compared to someone in the political arena, by anyone other than FOX or CNN, comparisons would be drawn to JFK or MLK or perhaps even your founding fathers.

I challenge you to actually lay out what you believe in, who you support and why. Furthermore, I would love love to see your convictions stand up to any kind of intellectual discussion (for the sake of argument, we'll consider 'intellectual' to mean something that would be an accepted coherent statement in say, a university classroom) I would love to have an intellectual pissing match where facts are bandied about instead of BS, instead of political spin-mastery, instead of unbridled ignorance, instead of an all-American love of bullshit issues.

To other patriotic Americans who read this, I would like to flat out say that I respect all people of this Earth. In no way will I assert something like "Americans are stupid", but can any American on this board tell me your system is just dandy? Can anyone argue that? Statistics?

Furthermore, please have at least some sense of history... I keep hearing that it's supposed to repeat every once in a while. Patriotism is love of and duty to country, not love or duty to any one man or prescription. If the system isn't working and the nation is hurting, then fix it. Don't go out stirring up shitclouds to forget about your domestic troubles. Suspension of habeas corpus? Wire-tapping? Pfft. If that shit happened in France or England, riots would have gone down.
