1. Pink Floyd-Pigs (Three Different Ones) - (6/10) From the album "Animals". More like a scherzo from a larger piece than a song because like most Pink Floyd albums it is meant to be listened to from beginning to end. Not my favorite song from the album but still good.

.The Lovin' Spoonful-Summer in the City - (5/10) Good classic rock song from the sixties, probably familiar to most people, especially the keyboard part. Used in a Gatorade commercial. Very catchy and upbeat.

.The Doors-Lament - (7/10) From the album An American Prayer which was released years after Morrison's death. The album is Morrison's poetry with the Doors playing music to it. The poem/song is about Morrison's cock. "Lament for my cock, sore and crucified". Really nice relaxing music to accompany it. Before you go assuming that a poem about your penis is automatically gay, I think most guys can relate with the sentiments expressed. "Guitar player, ancient wise satyr, sing your ode to my cock". "Death old friend, death and my cock are the world." A great example of the poetic Morrison at his best.

.Soundgarden-Spoonman - (7/10) Great song by Soundgarden, obviously refering to the spoon used to melt heroin. Love the guitar riffs and especially the line "All my friends are skeletons, they beat the rhythym with their bones". Nice and heavy.

.Elton John-Daniel - (7/10) I'm actually glad I did this because I haven't heard this song in a while. Slow, very sad, melodical song about missing your brother. Simple but meaningful lyrics. I'd like to include a little bit.."Daniel my brother you are older than me, do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal? Your eyes have died but you see more than I, Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky". That lyric definetely leads me to believe that the song was written about an older brother's drug usage and rambling. Makes me think of how my little bro must feel about me sometimes. Not a big Elton John fan but this is one of his good songs.
