1: Waltz for a piano in A minor - Chopin
5/10 Pleasant enough, rather lacking in substance. Sounds a bit like some incidental music from a costume drama
2: Acknowledgement - John Coltrane
9/10 Some of the best played and most radical jazz ever- really pushing the boundaries. Little bit taxing for easy listening. Best heard along with the rest of the album (A Love Supreme) cos its like a chapter from a story.
3: Have a Little Faith in Me- The Bellrays (B side- not the album version)
7/10 Combination of raw soulful vocals, luscious chord progressions and a mix similar to a Motorhead album from about 1979.
4: Don`t Be Sore at Me- The Parliaments
7/10 Snappy little northern soul style no. Good for some talcum style dance moves specially if it`s played a bit fast
5: Relentless- The Aquanauts
7/10 Driving Techno with trademark UR 2 step rythm and wicked heavy bass line.
