1. Modest Mouse - The View - 8/10 Classic mm riff with the classic mm disco rock feel, good times track

2. Grateful dead - Friend of the Devil - 10/10 Nothing more can be said about this song. Its just good.

3. Joe Satriani - Oriental Melody - 7/10 Cool song, nice catchy riff that joe shreds mad lickz over, great use of guitar scales and you can tell he knows how to put together a good song

4. Billy Bragg & Wilco - Airline to heaven - 6/10 from "mermaid avenue vol 2" which was a bunch of woody guthry poems put to music by b.b. and wilco. this particular track is sorta meh but the album and vol. 1 are pure gold

5. The Roots - In The Music - 8/10 It's in the music, turn it up, let it knock, let it bang on the block til the neighbors call the cops.
