Cake - War pigs: Five stars, definitely five stars, a classic remade with a funky fresh twist. Always topical too, works just as well for now as it did then.
Dusty Springfield - Son of a Preacher Man: Five stars for sure, I loves me some horns.
Earth, Wind and Fire - September: Its got a good beat and its easy to dance to Dick, I give it five out of five. Listen to all those horns and who doesn't like the sight of nine black guys in violet and gold all moving in step.
Bruce Willis - Respect Yourself: Die hard with a beat mother fuckers! A Staple Singers standard, bad ass tune done with a 'Bruno' attitude and plenty of brass. Five stars.
Dave Brubeck - Take Five: Theres those horns again, a musical masterpiece worthy of its own thread really. The 5/4 beat is superb. This one I'll give six stars.
