another thing i find so twisted about american drug policy is that we have these strict laws about drugs and we spend so much time and money getting rid of them and the dea claims to be winning the war on drugs yet as a % of population we have twice the marijuana smokers as the netherlands. yet when any government official is presented with the facts and how the netherlands policies work so well, they claim that the netherlands is a twisted drug addicted society and it would never work in america. Yet they have less drug users? the people in our government are so wealthy and removed from reality that they just deny any scientific evidence and common sense and go with their "faith in god" and their shitty policies.

It is just another part of the suppression of ideals that differ from the norm...This country was founded on the notion that those with the most money make the rules and thusly dictate what is okay or not... It is all under the guise that we all have the idea to think freely but when we try to apply those ideas is where we run into problems... Keeping the drug trade illegal is more about ensuring that the people that are put into the position to make money will make the money and the everyman stays either hooked on the products, in fear of being busted or actually busted...
