i think it's switched around (1 in 2 for females, 1 in 3 for males) but that doesn't change the fact that it's much more common then they thought even a decade ago.
and i'm still cancer free so still good news! yeah lol and my aunt is still alive, also good news, although she is getting more and more worn out.
my grandpa just died in sept of prostate cancer (sorta the male equiv of ovarian cancer) so that is probably another reason that there are so many in our family with it, because both grandma and grandpa had related cancers and if it's genetic (which considering my fam i think it is) we had risk factors from them both.
