I believe I will be subjected to a hair test in the next few weeks for an upcoming job.

After reading stuff on other forums and websites as well as talking to some people from those websites on the phone, I bought the Aloe Rid Gentle Clarifying Shampoo and also the Aloe Rid Deep Clarifying Solution. I've been using both of those things everytime i shower (I've been trying to shower about twice daily to make sure I use it frequently).

I also did some method that i read about on another forum that seemed to make sense. First I soaked my hair in a bowl of vinegar for 15 minutes, then without rinsing the vinegar out I used an Acne Medication like Clean and Clear for 5 minutes, then I rinsed and washed my har with tide. The reasoning behind this method is that the vinegar helps to penetrate the very hard folicle of the hair, the acne treatment helps to pull the impurities out of your hair, and finally Tide has very strong detergents that help to finish the cleansing process.

I also bought special Detox Shampoos from two different websites (I know I must seem paranoid, but I really need this job...absolute dream job).

A few days ago I shaved my body entirely (minus my eyebrows and head hair), I didn't think to just trim it short. I hope it doesn't come across as suspicious...I will just tell them that I swim, and that's why I shave. BTw I do not recommend this to anyone. I itch EVERYWHERE right now and am completely miserable.

Lastly, I will use the method mentioned in this thread a couple times before my test. One quick question though.....I realize that each application is three 5 minute sessions. Do you do them one right after the other, or do you wait in between?

Hopefully, with all these different methods combined, my test will come back clean. If it does come back clean, I obviously won't be able to say which method worked, but at least it'll give people another reference point. I'll post with my results when i get them.

I also purchased a hair test on my own that will be performed by Quest Diagnostics. I'll let you know how that one turns out as well.
