Oh the soil thing. yeah when I germinate the seeds I only put like a third of dirt in there for the seedling to take root into. As it sprouts and gets taller I add soil. I guess I do it to kind of limit the amount of stretching as well as promote a stronger as well as wider range of root growth. Also the soil being miracle grow soil, there is already fert in it. So as days go on and as waterings pass more fert will be added for when the plant is bigger and stringer. Just a renewal system I'm tweeking. Good question! Here is how they are doing now. notice soil was added yesterday after the smaller one had stretched out a bit and got taller. If I were to fill the pot and the plant had sprouted it would just keep growing and I would have to resort to a messier and more annoying method of folding and be=urrying the stem anyways. So by doing this I am only excersising my personal method. others do it differently I'm sure.
