No, I didn't have any trouble with the urine clumping or trying to mix it.

The powdered urine kit I used had been sitting in my room for about 6 months.

Just make sure the cap is on tight and shake it really well.

Just practice keeping it heated for enough time for you to take your test, that's the only reason you can fail, or unless somebody sees you with it. I wore a belt and made sure it was secured really well since I was paranoid about it falling out. I was really worried my first time but, it wasn't as bad as I made it out to be.
