I greet everybody, and everybody greets me, but I am NO one to get twisted with!! Iam always polite, and I can go "foreign" that quick, if I am not in the mood to speak. By that I mean, I speak in really broken English, and act like I am not wrapped too tight. Beleive me it helps.
