Not sure how old you are or what your situation but try to check out some clubs. I know my school has a lot of social/ academic organizations.
Check out the lions club. its a big organization that does service for the community. Might not be something you think you would like but it does feel good to do community service. Also if that seems like something to big. Try something smaller like on a weekend volunteer at a park clean up or something along those lines.
Finally Sorry this is long. But if you live in a big city or near one. Most street fairs or events need volunteers and these can be a lot of fun to work at. Plus usually the volunteer crowd are pretty cool.

the last time i got caught with points, the judge ordered me $100.00, or 10 hours community service.......then I get caught with a $40 of white, i had a decent case (don't wanna go into the details now), but my lawyer said we had a %75 chance of winning the trial..... rather than drag it out and waste taxpayer money, the prosecutor initially offered me 2 years of formal probation, and a $1,000 fine.....I laughed and said, see ya in court, then they made another offer, 1 year formal probation and a $500 fine, still I refused the deal, (remember I was out on o.r. so I wasn't in a hurry to make any deals, then MY lawyer(the public pretender) said he got a deal he reccomends we take before they take it off the table..I was to do 40 hours c. service, attend an all day drug couseling class that costs $300, and stay outta trouble for 2 years......So basically I took 2 years of paper probation, and turned it into an 8 hour class that costs $300, (they worked a payment plan up) with me (instead of $300 I got it down to $50.00) and 40 hours of community service (since I'm a gimp they had me file papers for the BBB)..so it pays not to take the 1st deal on the table, but when your incarcerated you'll agree to pretty much anything (and they know that)...I finished my C.S., and don't ever wanna wear that blue CCDC uniform ever again...
