Maybe its not for everyone. Just want to point out that volunteer events differ a lot. I had some very minor dealings with the law. All under age 18 so I was with a different system. One sort of informal thing I worked out once was that I had to do a lot of volunteer work and I did it at a food bank.
That really really sucked. If it wasn't for my friends being there with me it would of been hell. Bagging frozen food is lame.
Other events can be pleasurable.
