^ yea my experience is that failing is really hard unless you never go to class and dont take the tests.
in the really hard science classes like orgo, physics, and some advanced bio courses the averages on tests are like 30%, which is just above guessing. so if its a class that doesnt have attendance or homework grades you can basically get a C by never going to class and just guessing on the tests. although sometimes even getting a 30 percent is pretty hard :P
the only courses i failed is when i stopped going to class a quarter of the way in the semester and i got an incomplete. someone told me that incompletes get replaced when you retake the class so i never withdrew, and i got 2 Fs in 4 credit classes. i retook the classes and got C+ and B except the F's didnt get replaced. I tried to retroactively get the Fs removed using the excuse that i had a severe anxiety and depression attack (which i did at the time and i had documentation to prove it) but they are such hard asses and they say the only way you can retroactively withdraw is if you are in a car accident or a family member died. so now my gpa is a 2.3 when it should really be at least a 3 if not for those failures. and everyone thinks im a dumbass and getting any sort of internship is going to be a pain in the ass because they look at your transcript
