A seed is just that - a seed. Nothing more. It becomes a huge tree (in this case). That tree did not exist before, and please don't tell me it did. Even that seed didn't exist before. It grew out of another tree, which grew out of another tree. Yes, obviously existance is based on previous existance. Just not yours. So, I do think existance of a living form is based on the existance of another form. but, it's not you. You didn't create you in any form. You aren't floating around as energy waiting to come into existance. If your mother had married another man, not your father, you wouldn't be the same person you are today. If she'd married yet a different man, instead, you wouldn't be the same person you are today. Depending on whom your mother is with, you can be a billion different people, ETC. Who you are depends on so many random things, it's impossible to count. Just whom your mother happened to marry and where you got your male genetics from, their overall genetics, how they ate, how healthy they were, did they smoke, contract a disease, do crack, etc. etc. Your mother might have been a completely different person based on whom her mother married, etc. Who you are is so random, it's amazing. You weren't some energy form just waiting to emerge.
Okay - I guess it is pointless to discuss, and no one seems to want to discuss my point about how ALL religions say they can be the one, true religon, which is impossible...
Still - we ALL have ONE thing in common. Now, where's my pipe?
