OSX vs Windows:
Exposé is one great feature that windows doesn't have (or maybe vista implemented something similar, last I've used is XP).
Um... (yeah, I know one feature, pretty weak argument, right?)
You know you're totally right about Adobe, shindig. I've said the same thing myself. You can do the same design on a mac as you can on a PC. I don't even really get frustrated by Windows. All I can tell you is I get burnt out less working on a Mac than on Windows.
I love the dock (though I do command+tab switching more).
I like the menu bar on top and thinner, I find it less obtrusive.
In general it looks nicer, and yeah, that's worth paying for for something I look at 8+ hours a day.
I've never really had problems getting things to work on Mac or Windows. They're both fine. But I've wasted more time trying to get things to work on windows then on mac.
Sharing, networking and things like that also seem to be easier on macs.
It's not really a question of 'can it do it?'
Because both platforms work fine. Really. It's not just a fashion accessory though. It actually makes doing things easier.
The whole way folders are displayed I like better. I like the preview feature in finder (hit spacebar on an image, video, text, pdf, audio file and a lightbox of sorts appears with a preview of that file)
Included applications are nicer. Better designed, easier to use.
blah blah blah blah,
computer are cool
