WINTEL folks who just refuse to accept the fact that it's the OS that makes a computer, and that Windows is just an inferior OS, are plain deluding themselves. In fact, OSX isn't even the greatest OS out there, but among the commercial releases, it's the best option. Any true computer geek is running a dual boot with Linux anyway.
Oh and BTW - your links are from 2006, and all from the same CNET article. I'm sure there are TONS of benchmark comparisons which DO NOT support your hypothesis.
I will give you one thing, bootcamp did suck, a couple of years ago when it was new. Now there are other products which work better, including Parallels, which is what a ton of IT professionals use.
you know what's even funnier? You know what schools buy? I mean K-12 schools? Ain't PCs. I was observing classes in a very, very inner-city school the other day, and the classrooms all had Macs, and the teachers all had Macs. This school was so deep in the 'hood that they've had two recent shooting/lockdown incidents, and they're running Macs. Think about that for a minute, they use Macs to teach to at-risk kids who are notoriously difficult to teach. Not PCs, Macs.

Ok so your posted what he posted and thought you were going to be right? Thanks for admitting that Macs are being used by Kids. I was arguing performance, and again macs lose out. I have yet to have my Windows PC crash on me due to 3rd party /OEM parts, but that is because
I chose the right ones. It just works, but thats because
I know what i am doing. Wellfleation posted specs/benchmarks not to long ago which he claimed showed the MacBook pro to be the fastest Laptop on the market, well those same benchmarks and the specs on the apple website clearly show that it isn't. Windows running on the Apple set architecture of Intel runs slower than on the standard Intel architecture.
At this moment there is one and only one market where the Apple system outperforms the Windows system and that is Audio production, but that is due SOLELY to the 3rd party vendors who create the 3rd party addons that allow it to do so.
