okay so first i didn't understand the part about the lighter, explain that better.
next you mention we don't come from apes. But do u realize the things that are supposed to work perfect (2 eyes, ears, reproductive parts) the apes also have them. You can see the similarities physically, socially, psychologically, and finally through DNA.
And the stuff about the first animals, I explained how the first cell forms. Cells reproduce asexually if you look at them alone. They are just making copies of themselves. Some cells clumped together and other remained by themselves. Naturally, look at anything, strength lies in number. You can break one stick with ease, but try breaking 50 sticks at once; it doesn't work. So naturally cells that clump together would have a better chance of surviving the extreme conditions of the earth.
Everything kept on getting bigger and bigger more millions of years. Thats why there were those pre-historic animals which were really big. Big birds, Dinasours etc. Until conditions on earth changed (that meteor hit) and there most of the big trees were wiped, the whole landscape was changed, there were massive extinctions. Everything that was still moderate in size was able to survive. Since the landscape couldn't support as big creatures, nature didn't favor their evolution. Instead having more brains, meant you could survive the best. Which leads us to mammals in general, and further monkey and then us.
And I don't know if there are alien's or not. Odds are in favor though. And I do not think the government is capable to hiding such big thing. Do you really believe that aliens are only going to come to the U.S.A. I know other countries have had citing too, but the odds are AGAINST aliens from coming to this planet. Because we have looked around us and nothing seems to have life for a couple of light years away for sure (condering life as we know it). But suppose their was life I don't know some light years away, how would they come here. Nothing can travel at the speed of light, except for light. Not even an electron moves at the speed of light. Light, weighing nothing, is able to travel at light. So anything that wants to travel at the speed of light must weight nothing. But that's not possible because to be something you have to have be made up of atoms and electrons at the molecular level, and since its a know fact that an atom can't go at the speed of light nothing can go at the speed of light.
And just for the hell of, say the aliens can go at the speed of light, why would they be secretive? I mean just showing up on picture slightly? Or just a glance on video with lights. If they have really found a way to come here wouldn't they be interested in us, whether its to do us harm or to do us good (like take our water or something).
I think that people who see aliens are just seeing lights in a random order or things in a random order, and since humans hate the idea of random (evolution) they have to label it to something greater. Just like when people didn't understand rain, they said god created it, but know we know god doesn't, clouds do.
Mostly people tend to believe in conspiracy theories because its more interesting than just some random bullshit talking place. We associate something greater to it because we want to feel important, we want attention, we want to feel as if we are the center of the universe(like they literally used to).
