I don't refer to it as debt slavery, I prefer the term workerism.

Everybody must have a job, not a purpose mind you, a job, and its complete shite.

I walk around in cities and towns when I venture into them and I watch the miserable faces of people who are forced to perform redundant tasks just to justify their place in a society which has made no place for them.

Prime example - Check-out chicks, cash register people in supermarkets. A redundant career choice if ever their was one.

We have the technology to perform these tasks with more accuracy and less chance of corruption, so why should these girls have to stand there every day, all day and keep an inaccurate record of stock movements that could be better done by computer?

Why are they not encouraged to simply live a spiritual life and become better people few by the system thatcan well and truly afford to do so instead of obligating them to perform mindless and un-necessary tasks for minimum "wage"?

There are countless examples of redundancy I see everywhere in this society, people obligated to perform mindless tasks better performed by machinary with no hope of advancement or higher wages.
