Bush sits in Paris while Iowa floods

I personally think its just fucked up. You would think after Hurricane Katrina bush would figure things out and have learned a few things about representing our nation. Surely this isnt on the level that Katrina was at affecting peoples lives, I havent heard about anybody being trapped in their homes or being stuffed into the Iowa Rapids Arena. But still its a pretty big disaster effecting part of our nation that will have some sort of trickle down effect on our entire nation(grains, wheat, corn and some). Even if this isnt the case and nobody but those in Iowa are hurt, they still live in our nation. It seems that any president with TRUE concern for their nation would axe any previous commitments in Paris, or other city/country(surely any established nation would understand a disaster at home) and fly on home and at least act as if he cared, its not like he has to book a flight or anything. Shit just seems fucked up to me. Kind of like dude has no concern about "his people" since his shit 8 years is coming to an end, hed rather try to cram as much new legislation into foreign policy as possible before they kick him out of his house. Im, whats the word not excited but ya know, to see what kind of pardons he grants on his last few days. Ill be glad to be wrong if there isnt one that raises a few hairs.
