Yeah I know I'm reviving a pretty old and gone thread, but I just wanted to give a follow-up report.
I bought some of the best weed I've ever had, and put it in a shampoo bottle. Had no problems getting it there; I just wish I had brought more. i smoked out of a seashell for the first week, then finally got a small stone pipe from some little shop. AFter the sack ran out, it took some effort to find bud, due to being kept on a tight leash by mother dearest. When I finally had a chance, I found these two really chill 40-yr old stoners who spoke 0 english, didn't have a sack, but sold me a joint easily worth $10 for a $1.40, hehe. About a week after that I finally had another oppourtunity and bought a dub-sack from a 4-ft. tall guy. On a scale of 1-10 I'd rate the weed I bought there at about 2.
The trip was pretty badass, besides lacking in mj for most of it. Got to do some cool stuff like roast a bowl on top of an ancient pyramid. It would have been 4x as badass had I not been there with my controlling family, though.
As a final note, Mexico is definitely the butthole of planet Earth, and I'll be sure and take myself somewhere else next time. It was still cool living on the ocean, though. swimming every day and enjoying the heat & sun. There's not much sun where I live, except for two months in the summer.
