Heavy use vs. abuse?

Sorry if there is a topic like this around, but never seen one so I thought I'd go for it.

In your opinion, what do define heavy smoking as, and what do you define abuse? I've heard many people say that going through a dub sack in a day is abuse, then again I've heard people say an eighth a day is just heavy smoking but not abuse. Where do you stand on this?

I smoke everyday, multiple times. But the catch is I've never been on top of my shit as I have since my Dad found out and allowed me to smoke. He made the agreement with me that if I were to smoke, my grades would have to be at least a C average (they were well below that) and I could "smoke my brains out". Since that day, I've worked as hard as I can to maintain at least a 3.0, preferably 3.2+ (which I have been), my social life has skyrocketed, I met my best friend who I now consider family through weed, and overall just been very pleased. I use smoking weed as a motivator for good grades to 1) continue smoking as I please and 2) get good grades to go to college, then to a good paying job to pay for it. A lot of occasional/light smokers and non-smokers say I abuse it, but I don't think any negativity coming from it so I classify it was heavy smoking. Mind you, if somebody smoked the amount I do and was fucking up their life, I'd say it's abuse.

So what are your views on it?
