I understand there is a need for police, of course. And there are even some good cops out there. But not many around here.
My motto isn't so much "fuck the police" as it is "leave me the fuck alone".
And I feel is the duty of every American citizen to rely on the police for as little as possible. They have so much power because people have given it to them. When people abuse law enforcement, meaning when they rely on the police to solve every little thing, you are basically giving them authority over every area of your life.
I don't necessarily advocate vigilante justice, but the police are there for a reason. And it's certainly not to solve every little problem you might have.
