THC is a fat soluble substance (also organic solvents like butane), so oil and butter is the most natural thing to use to extract THC for cooking. its aslo why you want to consume all of the fat/oil. i was just wondering how much the dank affects the taste, because i was going to use this recipe the next time i cook shrimp scampi (just with a little more than a gram and a half ). with scampi, you taste the oil, butter, garlic, and shrimp. im hoping this infusion tastes good with a light evo. maybe ill even use cannabutter along with the cannaoil.

that wasn't my angle on it at all.
my thinking is that 2 tbsp won't be enough to properly simmer. when i attempt this, i think ill add some water so that i can get a mild boil, then seperate out the water later.
