I think we can all agree the decline started in the 70s and manifested itself in 80s.
not the decline of low-income blacks, not the decline of families (of any race) who engage in drugs/rap music/whatever, not the decline of anything specific, simply "THE DECLINE."
The breakdown of the African American family structure, crack, gangs, poverty. Based on everything I can see shit is only getting worse.
Clumping all blacks into a stereotype without pointing out you are using one to make a point. Then providing no information to support this other than "based on everything I can see..."

I think a lot of it has gotta be from the lack of a strong family unit - specifically the lack of fathers. Is this problem going to be remedied by the current generation? I dont think so.
