And for the most part, these animals die pretty quickly from being shot with powerful hunting rifles with skilled hunters. I wouldn't call it inhumane... perhaps unsettling or 'bad T.V.' but not inhumane.

Meh, I like elk myself. Deer is phenominal in jerky tho.
