I find this ironic when many people on here complain of the destruction of our civil liberties, free speech, and this is a place of stoners. I am a poster on some conservative web sites where mods never delete or censor unless it is a direct personal attack or physical threat of violence. I would think they would be the ones more likely to delete unpopular viewpoints and silence any opposition.

Isn't that what prohibition is about too? I see prohibition almost as a form of censorship. It certainly gained traction by manipulating people and silencing anyone who opposed it. It was championed by the same people who were in favor of censorship in the media, and also intolerant people who were racist and xenophobic.

So what is the story? When did the mods get together and decide to act like the very people that they too complain about?
/sigh

Members with green names (long timers) can lock their own threads. So therefore, everytime you see a locked thread, don't ASSUME it was a mod who closed it. I'm sure you're alluding to GHM's Thanksgiving thread...even though I posted in it, it wasn't closed by me. Sooo, yeah, unless you need a picture drawn...
