totally nun, even spawning trout i wont catch because trout isnt all that great anyway, the bigger being the nastiest. smaller trout are good if your camping or something, but i wouldnt really go out to catch some if i could make something at home, or go and buy some at the store. but to each his own, I would DEFINETLY not kill spawning salmon, and surely not trout, but catching them and releasing totally.
