If it's moist, I'd leave it out in the open longer than a few hours. Nothing ruins it for me than having great looking weed that smells like foul lettuce. I've even set out buds in a dark room on paper towels and just flip them once or twice a day to make sure they dry relatively even. It is much better to have buds that are too dry than ones that have been damp too long.
