½ tsp cinnamon or rosemary oil

½ tsp orange oil

½ tsp lemon grass oil

2 oz glycerine (available at most drug stores)

6 oz aloe vera juice

12 oz of a mild commercial human shampoo like Neutragena and Baby Shampoo or use Dr.Bronner’s Liquid Castile soap (comes In non-scented, eucalyptus, lavender, and peppermint, any of these will do and are available at health food stores and some Drug stores.)

1tsp of Skin So Soft (Avon) or Olive oil

1 lemon (squeezed all the juice and filter out the seeds and pulp)

Directions:

1. Mix lemon juice, Skin So Soft (or Olive oil), and Aloe Vera Juice together in a glass quart jar.

2. In a ceramic or glass tea cup blend the oils separately into the glycerine. Stir slowly for about 1 -2 minutes

3.) Blend all of this together, mix well, and store in a recycled shampoo bottle.

Use this like you would any shampoo. Wet your pet’s coat, apply and massage well leaving on for 10 minutes for maximum effect, then rinse completely out of fur.

Why not just buy something from your vet or pet store? …because most of the pet shampoos on the market for pets contain harmful substances that may be toxic to your pets when used frequently. These toxins may absorb through your skin and cause you harm as well.

Following this simple shampoo recipes will be rewarding for you and your pet because they contain safe & effective ingredients. They feel and smell good and will promote a healthy coat without over drying the skin. They are nutritious to hair follicles, and will help keep your pets clean and parasite free.

It is recommended to bathe dogs once a week and cats every 2 weeks, although dogs with severe parasite problems may need bathing every 3-4 days.

Let's try this one says PG to her Dog.
