I like that state of mind before you totally wake up and start 'realizing' all the things that 'make' up our lives, but are rather with the still of the moment. This is what I like about sitting in the morning, and just getting up early in general. I feel more practiced for the day before it even gets to a rolling boil.

Hi SageTree, Yes, Fajr does come in early, at around 3:30 a.m. I agree- the frame of mind is much better. An attitude of gratitude is much easier to cultivate when not awakened by something that sounds like an air-raid siren.
