When I was a teenager I use to rip off a certain department store for super nintendo and sega games like crazy. This stores electronics was fairly secure but there was one way, so simple to overlook it's unbelievable I was the only one to sus it out ... reach up and place the game on the top shelf of the wall it was hanging on, go out electronics dept, through electronic sec. around the corner to the pillows and linens area, reach up to the top shelf and grab your new game(s). Worked everytime. For you I'd recommend a similar exercise in simplicity - walk up to customs with the gear in your hands and as you approach the gate throw it up as high as you can, take care of your business at the gate, walk through and as you reach the other side catch your "package" as its coming down and your good to go ... simple
