I miss my dog (a small one) that we had to put asleep 5 years ago. She lived a long healthy life, but I guess I don't understand why some people have the dogs they do. Big dogs smell bad, are misbehaved, shed, slobber, chew things up. I don't like being around them; they are annoying, especially if 2 of them are playing.

Overall, I don't like dogs. Companionship is good, but I have become a neat freak over the years. I'm not willing to sacrifice cleanliness for a dog. Cats aren't much better. Maybe I will get an iguana someday... Iguanas are cool. They just mind their own business and don't make a mess.
