don't have time to refute everything you said DDC, but I will say that the worst thing I said about anyone was that they were very very biased, yet you seem happy to have some one to attack.
Time is the same for everyone. You have nothing to refute, time has nothing to do with it. The worse thing you did was make lame statements as fact. Thus contributing to the status quo staying in power over truth and a viable alternative to what is making us sick. I have no interest in seeking out someone to attack. Plenty of ignorance taught to keep me busy. But if the situation arises, I'll oblige.

Also if you notice I posted a link to an article about how much fossil fuel is needed to grow corn, I'd be surprised if hemp was very different.
Ok, thats a start. Sounds like a real question. CORN is not a viable ethanol without changing the eating habits of the world's poor and dysfunctional. Corn is the primary base food source of most of the worlds junk food diet. Staple for most poor nations as well. The only reason to use corn for ethanol is to drive up prices and get so much shit they drop it. As they have done. Hemp for ethanol as a waste by product, after you get the fibers, oil and seed protein. Not sacrificing a staple. Isochanvre, Hemp hurds mixed with lime petrifies into a mineral state that was used in the Merovingian period of France 500-751 A.D. that still stand. Condi lumber in Oregon produced hemp plywood with 4 times the tensile strength of trees. Trees produce oxygen and remove global warming carbon dioxide, while filtering thousands of gallons of fresh water (dew) each day. A part of a complete ecosystem that isn't healthy when trees are removed. Let alone clear cut for bird cage liners. Hemp cellulose for plastic instead of crude oil. Vegetable oil or fossil fools crude is the choice with hemp. Though for biodiesel many other oil plants would provide better oil yields. The seed is about 25%, but they're pretty small seeds. With the stalks we could save on the need for synthetics and pesticides on cotton. Grown by the poor and unemployed manufacturing products. Less of a tax burden on tax payers, less pollution, less intrusion on other countries resources. Leaving the corn for the junk food and staples. But you have to find time to read it. It ain't on Bill O or MSNBC.

Now of course you could grow using human powered irrigation, but even with the best human powered systems it's only possible to irrigate a couple of acres a day. Gravity feeds are another possibility, but they're only available in a very small portion of the planet.
Dude, step farming or off grid pumps and holding tanks. Large scale under legal conditions as 32 other countries are growing do. Roots as long as the stalk, 15 - 20 feet find water. As stated 98% of the so called "marijuana" eradicated is wild ditchweed hemp. No one waters it. No one fertilizes or pesticides it. All by itself it grows. Hemp is also a friendly alternative plant for farm banks. Planting in flax fields during the off season when redressing is necessary. Planting on hills prone to mudslides. Plant it as a pest and herb deterrent in-between rows of corn. Plenty of places to grow. Now most of the Agriculture is grain for cows, we export. Tons of poisons on the grain when hemp seed omega 3, 6 and 9 could supplement a lot of the meat. Actually make nutritious burgers. Less chemical grain, less cow destruction and factory farms. And again having a waste byproduct to make into clothing, or dent resistant auto body's. Or PVC pipes etc. Its just too versatile for the status weird. So speculation to a point is healthy, beyond that is ignorance. One thing about the internet and yahooka. Time is not a factor. This info will be here for years. Take your time.
