THE Photo Contest.
Please vote on a theme. On monday which ever theme is leading will be the theme for the first week.
Rules: One entry per person. Photos must have been taken by you and you MUST include EXIF data or equivalent that includes the following: *Camera Model, *Exposure & f/stop *Focal length in 35mm equiv *ISO Speed Rating. Can be Digital or Scanned, Colour or Black and White. The less Photoshop, used the better. Photos submitted can be used in one contest only and not repeated. Entries close on Friday or when ever the voting poll is set up. One vote per person. A Tie Breaking vote will decide ties. The previous week’s winner chooses next week’s topic. Surely we should bestow some resolution limit? E.g: a maximum of 800x600 per image?
Photoshop should be shunned imo, for uses other than cropping/converting to greyscale/resizing anyway, otherwise we'll just end up with a photoshop competition. I nominate black and white as the first round, since it covers such a broad spectrum, everyone should have something compatible. |

yea im down with this idea....
probably the last chance of the year to get some good nature photos. oh shit actually i just rememberd my camera broke yesterday - does anybody know how do fix a sony dsc h2 where the little shutter button and spring popped out? i have both pieces but i cant get them to go back in..... it sucks, and failing that, whats a better longer lasting 25x optical zoom digital camera cuz im gonnahave to get a new one soon.... |

I've got a canon powershot s3 IS, and love it to pieces.
not a pro model by any means, but not a crappy little pocket cam, either. takes GREAT pix, and vid with stereo sound, too ![]() |

Sorry ssd...800x600...your image makes me scroll around. Considering that standard resolution for the internets is 1024x768, your image would not fit into the post area of this screen.
Your image there is actually 896 not 1000(the white takes up useless space)across and i still had to scroll around. |
