Surely we should bestow some resolution limit? E.g: a maximum of 800x600 per image?

Photoshop should be shunned imo, for uses other than cropping/converting to greyscale/resizing anyway, otherwise we'll just end up with a photoshop competition.

I nominate black and white as the first round, since it covers such a broad spectrum, everyone should have something compatible.

i think the resolution should be higher - maybe a 1000something maximum instead?

In order to fix that you have to get to a store that sells cameras (not target/wal mart, but a real camera store)

and buy a Nikon

I've got a canon powershot s3 IS, and love it to pieces.
not a pro model by any means, but not a crappy little pocket cam, either.
takes GREAT pix, and vid with stereo sound, too

Sorry ssd...800x600...your image makes me scroll around. Considering that standard resolution for the internets is 1024x768, your image would not fit into the post area of this screen.

Your image there is actually 896 not 1000(the white takes up useless space)across and i still had to scroll around.
