okay so its been a while since we had one of these. since i am not planning on ever winning one (i am happy enough to have 1 vote for all my effort so far) i decided now was my only chance to pick a topic.

this weeks topic will be pollution. take a picture of something gross or maybe just nature looking sad.

this is from a fire near my house this summer. i guess you could view the smoke and/or the retardant as pollution.

It's not really pollution in the most literal sense of the term... but I think it fits strongly because if you know what it used to look like, just 15-20 years ago its crazy.
I and some of my friends broke into this place, and hung out for a while... this was one of the pictures I took there.

There was shit in one of the toilets.

Some standing water by a small brook that leads into a swamp. I think the oil on top is fertilizer runoff from the fields nearby. My finger or something got in the way in the bottom and I set to resolution a little low but oh well.

This is a bridge in severe decay on the Quileute Indian Reservation. The reservation is located on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State.
