You should think about adding black around the lighted surface on the heart. Perhaps some black shadows on the wings, too.

Or you can just keep it simple, if you like.

yeah check pirate bay...its easy to find a torrent for it. If u actually buy it i think its in the $200-300 range.

its very easy to use. its a vector based system so its pretty intuitive. I would say go to amazon and get a used how too book and u will be doing some pretty kewl stuff very fast.

to each his/ her own.
typically i draw in pencil and very detailed so its hard to adjust lines n such. my solution has been doing the sketches on paper then putting in illustrator for coloring and editing..
what type of art do you like?
