Instructions For One Hitter From A Pencil

A one hitter made from a pencil


The tools. You also need a small piece of tape.






1. Remove the metal band. The metal band will be the bowl of the one hitter and must remain undamaged. Remove the eraser and repeatedly push the knife into the wood. Don't pry against the metal band. Once you remove enough small pieces of wood the metal band will easily come loose.






2. Find the place where the two halves of wood are glued together and split the pencil. With your pocketknife, score the line where the halves join for 3 inches down the pencil, on both sides, and gently separate the halves.






3. Trim the halves to the length a bit shorter than you want the one hitter to be. You can score around the pencil with your knife and break it. Smooth the ends.






4. Cut the lead out of the pencil. Remove some more wood from the inside to widen the hole. The hole the lead remains isn't big enough to draw enough air through, so widen the hole.



5. Cut the paint off of the end where the bowl will be. This will let the metal band slide back on. Carve out a little cone part to make some more room in bowl before you put the metal band back on.


6. Push the metal band back on and wrap tape around the bottom of the one hitter. You only need tape at the end to hold it together. The stem will be airtight without tape all over it.

i'v used to do something similar with plastic pens.

take a plastic ten with a meatl strew on tip... remove the insides, unscrew the tip and turn the core part around from this l> to this l< and melt with a lighter and push the metal tip into it. it will seal and then load the tip and smoke. not very big but it works if you dont have anything else.

nice stealth, how is re usability? as in, can you and a friend smoke enough out of it to get you both high without ruining your creation?

It is fine to reuse. I've used one as my main piece before and I've never used one up.

Yeah those are pretty good. This is meant to be a last resort sort of thing. Proper one hitters are better but if you don't have a head shop nearby or for whatever other reason you can't get ahold of something to smoke out of this works well. It's also something you can throw out and not feel too bad about because if you have another pencil you can just make another one.
