I'm really digging my headbands recently. I was kind of at a loss of what to do with my stripperlength long hair, that would keep it out of my face, look classy, and be no-fuss.
Cool I will have to try and make one. I agree with AL420 they do look very good on you .

Slings, pouches, ergos, ringslings, etc - are no where near as comfortable as a mei tai. The only downside is, because they can be worn so many different ways (back, front, baby facing out in front, on the hip) the straps are long, they also fit all sizes of people - but because the straps are so long, when you take them off - they're kind of a pain to store.

The only store bought babycarrier that is fantastic is the babybjorn. They're a swedish import, that can now be found at target. They begin to hurt your back around 15lbs though, whereas the mei tai goes for around 35lbs.

I'll stop now.
I sound like a flippin babycarrier infomerial.

ETA: My mei tai sold in less than 1 day listed.
YEEE!!!

Thanks Martha. S&S and I would really appreciate that . I'm glad you rambeld on . I like to know all the good mommy secrets. Congrats on your sell.

I had my boyfriend curve a metal rod and then I adorned the top of it with a clay shroom... Now it's a cute little poker/stirrer for our bongs and pipes!

Hand-sculpted tiny ashtray... I used a green glittery clay for the leaf.

Detail:

Dice roach clip

Lollipop roach clip

I'm in the process of making a quilt for my girl atm. I'm almost half way done cutting out all of the squares.

The real test will come when I have to sow it all together... not looking forward to it.

I appreciate the comment though.

My quilt should be done this weekend, I need my dad to help me sew up the back and the front. Hes doing it some special way, which I don't fully get, so I'll have to wait till he has time.

Pics will come.

With the current age of the youngling, its impossible to create as much as I would need to, to make that happen.

But I appreciate the compliments.

Hey you should pm me the info about where you sell your stuff, I'd totally buy some of it!!!

i am working on this nightstand for my room... its not 100 percent done but i have pretty much roughed out all the hard work. keep in mind it has no glue or nails. i hand cut pretty much all the mortise and tenons and lapjoints and it took a hell-of-alot of work ... pheww. oh yea and its all my design that i made up as i went along, i had to make some comprimises to use the wood i had because lumber is mad expensive.

I really really appreciate the no nails, no glue ideal - thats really hard, to design something that doesnt need any supportive help.
And what you end up with is a natural sturdy piece.
im thinking about staining the legs and keeping the top clear because it has the naturally occuring purple color going on.
