Thanks AnimalLover I am definitely gonna check that site out and see about getting some of my stuff up there. Sounds like a good approach to take. Thanks for the compliments!

Your etched glass is gorgeous.
Definitely list a link if you set up a shop. I'd be interested.

So for yall that like my glasses, off the cuff what would be a ballpark amout youd be willing to pay for a set of two or four? Just trying to figure if it would be worth my time/effort to sell them as it is a very time consuming process. If I do decide to set up a shop I will certainly work in some sort of Yahooka discount/bonus.

Etsy :: Search Results
There's nothing really on there like yours. But I mean give it a ball park, how much do the cups cost to how much time and how awesome are they when their done. I'd say their some pretty sweet ass cups. But the only cups I've ever personally bought where drugstore plastic cups haha.

See there? Your first customer! And Zooey has used etsy before, so she can personally attest to its awesomeness.

Well considering there's nothing else like it on etsy, and that you spend so much time on them, I would say absolutely no less than $20 + shipping for a set of two. And that's just a bare minimum, I really think you should do them for more. The thing I've noticed about this place is that buyers are willing to pay extra for quality workmanship. They can buy with a clear conscience, knowing that they're not contributing to child labor or unfair trade and instead putting their money directly into the hands of the artist. So charge as much as you feel comfortable with, you can always change the price if they don't seem to be selling. Also take into account that etsy takes a small percentage (3.5%) if an item sells. And you also have to pay paypal fees if your buyer chooses that as their method of payment. I just wanted you to keep that in mind, because I didn't at first and had to adjust my prices. And even after raising my prices, customers were more than willing to pay what I was asking.

Afterthought: I did find a few items that may give you an idea of how much to price yours. This guy is charging $30 for one glass.

Etsy :: saaio :: Hylian Shield and Master Sword Etched Glass

And these are $40 for a set of 4.

Etsy :: biggirlco :: set of art noveau design glasses

You can also visit those sellers' shops and click the link that says "___ sales" and it will show you what people have bought from their stores. That may help you decide what style of glasses to use or what colors.

I have a Hispanic friend whose daughters are obsessed with things related to day of the dead. So when he saw that I had made sugar skull pendants before, he asked me to make some for his daughters. I can't sit down and bust out all my toys to make just one or two things, so I made a whole handful of pendants.

Jesus Christ I'm so girlie. I'm all about some cupcakes, rainbows, and skulls with daisies and crystals for eyeballs.

good stuff AL. I didnt realize you made these things. I dig the skulls and the cupcakes look yummy, but the star is my favorite, looks straight out of Mario Bros. What kind of material do you make them out of?

It's polymer clay (aka squishy, uncured plastic that can be baked in the oven.) My favorite brand is Fimo, but I sometimes use Sculpey because they have so damn many colors. It's so much fun, you should play with it some time. There are plenty of cool things you could make that aren't as goofy and childish as the things I do. My boyfriend made a really cool mushroom ashtray for me when we first met.

I love clay. And AL I always want to eat your creations (cept maybe the earing parts). You should make decorative baked goods I bet you'd have a knack for it!

I've done a few different mini-foods. I've done pie, cupcakes (of course), donuts, and yeah I think that's it for the baked goods. But I've done other sweets, like lollipops, candy, and ice cream. People seem to really enjoy the miniature sweets, they always sell really well in my shop. I've also seen other sellers on etsy do well with miniature non-sweet foods, such as tacos, sushi, and hamburgers. They're pretty cute.

And speaking of food, here are some vegetable magnets I made for my fridge.

Silly I know, but they were fun to make. And now when I'm getting into my refrigerator I remember to eat my veggies.

It comes in all different colors, pretty much any color you can think of. BUT you can also mix them to make your own colors, which I find to be pretty fun. You end up with a color that may never be duplicated.

Thanks Zooey!! The broccoli was the most fun to make because I got to sit there and poke it with a pin in order to get the textured look on the "florets".

I know you've probably been making things that would put us all to shame, so come back sometime with pics for us to drool over!!

Me <3's zooey pics.

These are some sculptures I made. The last one is something I made in an art class a while back, it's all yarn.

^Those are cool, I love the mushroom. Here are a few new things I've made:

That last one is made with a vintage key. I really wanted to keep it because there will never be another one like it, but if I did that with every single thing I made I'd have entirely too much crap.
