I get near the point of no return and get a sudden onset migraine type headache. I've been drinking too much and not eating properly, i thought it was dehydration, but it's still happening. I hit my head quite badly while playing sport a week ago, I think my brain must be bruised and that is the cause.

go get checked out! theres all kinds of complications that can arise from head trauma
and when ur getting near orgasm ur blood pressure goes up so maybe the pain is associated with bleeding or clots.
any other symptoms beside the headache?

Since it sounds sudden, like this wasn't always the case with you, yes I would get it checked out. Especially because of the head trauma. Fact is the headache before, during, after orgasm is more typical for men than women (ironic)...so don't get stressed about it being anything, because it happens to a lot more people than you would think. I would still go get checked out, I'm certain it'll be a non issue.

getting an extremely intense headache, right at orgasm is not that rare...

i had a girlfriend that would get them all the time.. i used to think she was crazy / full of it...

then, one day i got an ingrown pimple on my jaw area... it was all gross looking and shit.. i forget exactly what they are called... i think a boil?

anyway, for some fucked up reason, for the duration of the life of that pimple things life, i would get INTENSE headaches right as soon as i busted, i mean extremely fast onset as soon as you nut, then it dies down and slowly goes away, but still remains painful for a little while...

when that ingrown pimp went away after taking anti-biotics, i never felt it again...

i still have my headache, my cock gets a break for a few more days yet.
a little more info, a had a wank two nights ago, i was relaxed but still got the headache, not as bad as from sex tho. The sex one stays intense for at least 10mins, i cant concentrate, can hardly talk at first, like you say kosh, waiting for the pressure to go somewhere, breathing keeping calm etc.
I dont see the point in going to the docs just in case, I'll just stay away from stimulants for a few days.
mafoo: the pain is located generally in the top of my head, it does come into my neck, my partner started rubbing my neck while i was reeling, it released my head somewhat she said it was really stiff.
The sports injury was from a horizontal dive to take a catch, I tried to catch the ball a few cms from the ground, so wasn't paying much attention to how i landed, impact threw my head down into hard packed dirt, i was dissoriented for about 1min. I think my brain just smashed into my skull and is a bruised, but i'll be sure to tell others that i have orgasmic cephalgia.

one thing i just remembered
after each of the first two sex induced migraines I immediately blamed the french kissing, it made my neck feel uncomfortable. "too much french kissing", lol, shouldn't have said that.
Anyway, she's invited me over to dinner, I should get a neck rub, hopefully that will loosen up the muscles and allow some of the blood to get out.

i had sex last night after about 5 days without
got a headache
but it went away pretty quickly
i still have a sore neck too
but i've started loosening that up more
i think i had a concussion and am in recovery

when i get stressed i get these weird migranes that peak right before whatever task i have to do and then usually leave a day or two later

prolly i get em because i put jaw pressure on teeth at night (when i sleep) and that creates somekind of headache the next day...
