What the cigs?!?!?!??

So Friday at work it was a pretty nice day. It was just me and some of the guys, minus the boss. We got alot if not more done than when he is there. After work we went to the liquor store and Brian and I dropped of the last of the dudes then drove to my house. It was absolutely pissing rain so I just say in the truck, and Brian seemed like he wanted to talk.
We cracked a few beers and smoked his J before hitting my chillum a few times, which I take to work as my method of inhilation. He told alot of funny stories about working on the rail road and all the fun times he had being a cab driver in the 70's. This man is my Dad's age, which only adds a funny tinge to the whole thing. It's just an observation though, no worries, [I]alot[I] of my good friends growing up were much older than me....much... 20 yrs tops
Never the end of our talk he went to smoke and I was all,'Ah man, can I get on of those for later?' He gasped alittle knowing I quit semi-so a years ago. I said it was no biggie that I smoke 1-2 cigs a year or just take a drag once in a blue moon, which people are funny about....Like I am stealing a drag, yet there is no aversion to sharing a joint...go figure?
Well I didn't smoke it that nite, because I thought, I drank and it's hot, I'll just feel bad.
Then Saturday morning I decided not to take it to work, because it's hot, I'll feel bad.
This morning, ah my stomach is sorta upset, I shouldn't smoke it.
Well today I took it on a walk to the market and man I swear after 2 drags and a sputter, I was wondering why I decided to light it. I have been smoking like this for 5-6 years now, sometimes it goes alot smoother. Thank the gods for Canadian cigs, they are rough, and a good reason to not smoke. Well I sure enough finished 3/4 of it and snubbed it out.
I can't imagine why people or I for that matter ever enjoyed smoking? The people I work with have them hanging out the mouth ALL DAY. They smoke hand rolled cheap tobacco, with no filter.
I think this is the only time I was so reluctant to smoke it, and I take this as a sign that maybe I'm totally done with cigs. After the way it tasted and the crappy feeling I had for about an hour didn't set well.
I know what my body wants and it didn't want that cig. I'm glad I smoked it to prove to myself that I was just in being so reticent towards smoking it.
