for being at a liberal college in san francisco, when this was brought up in my ethics class, a majority of people thought it a bad idea to have cannabis legalized. what a bunch of tools. fuck. can people not think critically about it? am i missing something that the anti-legalization/pro-criminalization crowd sees? what the fuck? or are these people simply idiots, like it the case with most issues?

Well yeah, college is pretty much filled with idiots.

I hate when you try to make the arguement and folks are like, 'well, I mean it is a drug, so legalizing it isn't going to make the situation better.' Or something like that. Its not about whether or not its a drug, its not about the drug its about the plant.
Anyways, yea I watched a tonne of youtube videos of GRAVEL last night and this guy looks like an awesome choice for president, the only one out there telling the truth, straight up how it needs to be told. Good stuff! |

all people need to do is look at a historic example of illegalization/criminalization of a drug.
alcohol. when illegalized, all sorts of problems began. it was less pure, and as a result the consumer payed in horrible health problems or death. organized crime like never before began and caused countless death, corruption, and destruction. and so on, and so forth. huge fucking waste of money. what happened when it was legalized again? it was no longer contaminated with crap, there was no black market and thus no organized crime to step in, and it wsa regulated properly. edit: and i forgot a main point. alcohol consumption didnt decline significantly with prohibition. people consumed roughly the same amount as before, except they were criminals for doing so. |

He was pretty funny on the Colbert Report last night. It's good to see a politician with a non-scripted sense of humor.
