what they really need is to do a protest style thing full of successful people with decent jobs and cars and houses etc,

to prove that u can succeed with drugs.

I think its pretty damn good that they got people out at all.

In Toronto they had 20 thousand protesters, many of whom had respectable jobs I am sure.

Thanks for telling us what we should do. I have a job, actually two if you count the volunteer work booking a concert/Rally that has 30,000 attendees and working that myspace. I make lots of money in my day job and I am not a trust funder, but a self made man.

Where were you yesterday and how successful are you?

thats a fallacy in the first place and a stereotype that you hold.

There’s a march here in LA every 5th of May. On one hand I feel guilty for not going; on the other hand I know I’d feel a little funny attending a “march” comprised of about twenty people.

Sister Somayah Kambui's Hemp Is Hep - Crescent Alliance Self Help For Sickle Cell

It’s not an issue too many people get too worked up about around here these days. Possession of less then an ounce is a misdemeanor, and medical marijuana has been legal in California for about eleven years. If the federal government started to more aggressively prosecute cannabis users, then MAYBE more people might turn out.

oops.lol

look im sorry, yes it was stereotypical to say that etc. im just being harshly cynical about thi stuff. i apologise for that dude.

and don't get me wrong, i smoke weed every day and have had treatment for amphetamine psychosis due to a love of the pills at age 17.

its just that drugs should stay illegal, for the sake of people like me with no self control. also I don't want drugs to be any easier to get, look at the little fuckwits these days that smoke pot. now imagine if they could get it in shops and walk around all day like OMG IM SO HIGH RIGHT NOW!
+ I don't want drugs to be controlled by the government.

and really, drugs fuck shit up guys. maybe slowly if u just smoke green but so definetely. if u havne't noticed that yet then i hope u never will.

but yea.
i love drugs,
but i hate them so much as well

so, sorry for completely missing the point of the thread. lol

Where were you yesterday and how successful are you?

and um....i'm a sales consultant for a large telecoms convergeance specialist in the UK. Friday I was workin with Blackwells Bookstores designing a suitable VoIP solution to reduce the cost of the stupid amount of inter-store calls they make and also convinced them to buy a VPN solution to help make them a lil bit more secure.. ( although between u and me, its a lil unnecessary efficiency wise, but unnecessary to the tune of a 10k per site installation on vpn alone. lol)

the thing is. I could of been so so soooo much better if I'd never (or at least stopped) doing drugs. I'd have a functioning memory again.i used to be able to remember huge amounts of information, now i struggle with what happened yesterday.
I'd be more perceptive again. These days my reactions are slightly slower compared with the days gone by, even 2 years ago. doesn't matter normally, but there has a been a couple of times in my job where i don't manage to lcose a sale, and come away thinking, "I should of said this". that never used to happen before drugs.
I'd have the drive and willpower to do something. I've battled and and am starting to winb, but like 4 years too late to do take up even 1/3 of the opportunities I have had.

on the other side of this. I have gained huge social awareness and a lot of gfood friends either directly or indirectly through drugs and have had some of my best times because of them

(even that paragrah looks tainted to me)

I know i'm moaning. but drugs aren't all that good for everyone.
and yes some people are lucky and just do shit loads of drugs and hold it together regardless. like some people with cigarettes and not dieing of cancer.

but I didn't know that I couldn't handle the load, until it was too late.

so yea. don't legalise drugs, because it will kill more people than save them i reckon.

and i don't know
but i guess./

Yes, lets bring back the 18th amendment. After all, many people have no self control with alcohol either.
