Talking One Hemp Bill In 2008

Consider this.

In 2007 we had industrial and medical hemp bills in congress. One was lost in committee since 4/20/07 and the other voted down, despite the heroic efforts of the Marijuana Policy Project, Vote Hemp and other hemp organizations and individuals.

The hemp movement has fallen victim to the old divide and conquer strategy. We can fix that.

We live in camps, industrial/medical/leisure all acting like it's a different plant we are talking about. It's an illusion.

According to Richard M. Davis of the USA Hemp Museum, there is one hemp plant that grows in many grades. Richard is the author of the book HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION.

Medicine and leisure are considered industries too. If you don't think medicine is an industry, try being sick, broke and uninsured at the same time in America.

In the Great 8 (2008), we should have one hemp bill removing all restrictions off of a plant that grows wild in nature. The great hemp warriorJack Herer, has an inititive he's putting through in California that could work as a model.

In the face of global warming, regardless of the cause, hemp's ability to remove the excess CO2 from the atmosphere should make it a national, if not international priority to at least slow down global warming.

In our violent society with war as an option for solving problems, hemp's peace pipe would give people an opportunity to work things out before the level of violence is reached.

Regarding disappearing bees, hemp stands ready as an excellent food source since it's wind pollinated.

In the face of our health care crisis, hemp's proven medical ability, like shrinking tumors and stopping asthma attacks, is illegal while toxic medicine thrives.

With all the information available about hemp, this is a no brainer is the case is presented in a unified fashion. Based on results, divide and conquer is an ineffective strategy. In unity is strength.

Truth is a powerful tool when used correctly.

What do you think?
