Well, because i first started to notice these other problems after i figured out they were lieing to me about WEED. I thought to my self "Self, if there lieing about this what else Are the lieing about?" So i started researching, things and started to figure out a bunch of things that they are hiding from us. I understand why most people think I'm crazy, personally i didn't believe it myself at first, that's why i suggest you look into it your self and see what you can find. A good place to start is by listening to "HED P.E." its a great punk band that has a bunch of hidden things in its songs. I looked up some of the things they sing about and found a DOOR to shit that will make you cry and feel scared that you even know.

The government lies to us about weed? isnt the reason its illegal because most of the population is against it, or doesn't smoke it...

MAjority huh? I highly doubt that fact which is advertised by the very organization that would make no money off it being legalized. If I were going to lose alot of money I would make decisions based on personal benefits. Face it the government does lie to us about smoking. Saying majority do not support it is a bold face lie. I'm thinking maybe 2 out of 20 people I know DONT smoke weed, And 1 out of those two who dont smoke doesn't think It should be legalized. Thier lie about majority wont last forever. They will have to find another scare tactic to scare us with.

Thats because you have made friends or have been friends with people that smoke. When I didnt smoke, I was friends with people who were against it. Those 2 out of 20 friends that are against smokin probably have 2 out of 30 freinds that do smoke. This is because of collective behaviour. The fact is A big majority dont support it. This will change soon, though. The elderly are the majority who are against it. I don't mean to sound harsh by saying that last statement, but it is true that the younger generation either smokes weed, or isnt against smoking weed.
Doesn't the government make money off of smoking? Why wouldn't they make money on weed if it were made legal?

why make cents when you are already making dollars. the government makes a shit load off of weed as it is by asset seizures, court costs, and prisons. think of prison like a hotel where you have so many guests you have to build more and bigger prisons. some states are starting to tax you for the pot you get busted with after all the court costs and jail time and what not. oh yea and don't think defense attorneys don't make money hand over fist from keep pot illegal.

in order for something like this to happen and work you would need many thousands of people all over the country doing this, marching for the legalization of pot. or bribe some corrupt senetors into legalizing it. Their is much profit to be made by big business if pot is legalized, and that means more big business and lobbiests to give bribes, which politicians love.

It's the damn silent majority. Key word SILENT. We all express out thoughts and opinions online and how we should all contact our representatives on the internet, but few people actually get out there and hold rallies (like the gov), and even fewer people really get in the face of the media and "stick it to the Man."

Yes I do see a pattern, but even though hardly anyone your age smokes anymore, quite a few of them did it, and wouldnt be against legalizing. As we go along more and more people are realizing the facts, and are using weed, and even if they quit or slow down when they get older, they still dont have anything against it.

Furthermore if someone does smoke weed, they usually dont start when they are 25 or 30, they start when they are in thier teens. as the majority of teens start to use it, more and more and even more teens will try it/use it. I Right now I dont think we have enough people to legalize weed. I think we need to have more research done for more facts, as well as more people to help us. I think we should wait 2-5 years. However, I think we should still prep for it.

I agree. I wouldn't usually agree to encouraging corruption, and bribery, but they are making us play hardball. It is safe, if used correctly, and there is no reason why it shouldnt be legalized. Again though, I think we should wait a couple of years, and if it hasn't been done by then...

Well the government has to work to make the money through seizures, and arrests. They could make rediculous amounts of money off of the tax they would make us pay on weed. They would have to work to make and get the bill, but they easy sailin from there on.
