Thanks for the synopsis (and for leaving out parts of the story that don't go well with your line of thinking).

He was originally sentenced to 10 years for the robbery. He tested positive for marijuana on his first drug test. Meanwhile, the white man of privilege had his probation lightened even after being caught with cocaine. And that isn't an injustice?

I pointed out that it wasn't simple possession. The truth matters. Its unequal and unjust but the truth is still important, even the details.

When i stated that its life i meant simply to agree that that is the reality that black Americans face, especially in such piece of shit states like Texas.

And when i said no one gives a shit i oversimplified. I should have said no one (or maybe just not enough people) with the power to change this will. The elites who put him their dont care.

EDIT: I dont apologize, i despair. We need a change in attitudes of the entire us population before things like this will become anything less than commonplace.

You make it sound like I'm trying to hide the truth, while you summarize the piece with your own version of events.

Where's the rest of the story? How about in comparison to the murder committed by the white? The video did a decent job of showing the injustice, given most all things equal except for race and sentences.

And as far as I'm concerned, it was the weed that has put him in prison for life. The original sentence for the armed robbery was 10 years probation. I don't understand how he was then sentenced to life for testing positive for marijuana.

It wasnt pot that landed him in jail it was being black.
Im not accepting it as the norm im acknowledging it as the norm. Without understanding what you up against you cant change anything.
And with that attitude things can change. The elites must be overthrown. This will be done only when the majority of americans open up they're eyes and realize this is every day shit.

we're defending the black criminal because he got life for taking two dollars and smoking weed. yes he is a "criminal", as the government defines it, and yes he deserved punishment, but definitely not life.

Black people have it harder cause a lot of them act so stupid it makes the whole race look bad. I remember when myself and some friends had a little trouble with the law. My black friends mom was really worried cause she understood how its a lot worse for a black person to have something on their record than a white person. Luckily nobodys record got affected.
